Ephermeratic

Ephermeratic To K.K.  18 février  Bolton Listening to “Every time you fall in love” by Cigarettes after sex  The land is fertile for feeling-  Compulsion, pulsations, sensation-  A simple kiss can send a man reeling. Excitation numbs dumb- rule of repetition.  For a moment your eyes danced with possibility  Cruel ravager of hope, birther of imagined bliss Things fall apart- evanescence of eventuality,  Tyranny of intangibility- on my lips rest, wisps.  Sweet words of night turn sour in light  And I savor the rotten, vinegary, acidic.  The moon whispers indulgently- the sun scalds, in white.  What is putrid, is power, thus, the psychoanalytic.  You see in me a man-  In the mirror, there’s but change  Why I can- from where I am- of what I am.  Synthesia self- skin shedding, how strange!  Take a picture- look at the screen- we aren’t there.  Spirits materialize in our eyes- capture  The fl...

Titanomachy

Titanomachy  Bolton  12 février 2024  The world watches-  Waiting for a shaking of the earth.  A hulking behemoth lurks at the horizon- Monumentality kaleidoscopic, myriad.  We are beset by microscopic colossuses-  From every fold of neurons, They hide their hegemony.  On their shoulders ride worlds unimagined And, as Odysseus, we seek to blind them. Yet the eye remains perceiving- Flying, floating, multiplying,  We cannot sly so easily the giant Being made enormous by an abundance of humanity.  So let us arm ourselves with what we may Civilization stands fraught watching crumble  Her own children, and its innards  The Hecatoncheires stand ready to hail We ought greet them with all honor.  The smallness of our society will cripple  If we release the totality The in many, the many through one The path must refract and reform Unity, then will wait in  Tartarus, and olympus.  If we have the courage to se...

Soul Abyss

Soul Abyss  To A.N. Bolton 8 february, 2024 Friend, the cold gust of dread I don’t know how to prevent it from going to your head This world-water is so vast And us little droplets, so outcast. Deep tides may us push and pull,  But maintain your flow- don’t mull  The dark under your currents are just one ocean From the warming light you are frozen. We are sailors, navigating our course Without a map, means, or mast- have force? Poseidon will pull- but you know the depths,  What better way than to ride crests? Let your soul rain on the stirring sea We’ll be there to catch the thunder, your friends and me Because to be an ocean most sublime You must know barren beauty, and bitter brine. Swim down then, where dark stars’ light  The weight of waves will give you might. I believe in your transformation, o orpheus  Continue the struggle, through laborious  In the deepest charybdis I know how the water swells, in this  Life that shows no relief- D...

What does it take to fall in love

What does it take to fall in love 4 février ‘24 Bolton  What does it take to fall in love-  Besides suppression, depression, imagination- hand in glove-  they want you whole, they chew the holes. You’re always empty, but show you’re full.  The flesh will be insufficient to neon-  Steel bones, plastic hair, breath of freon-  Man made model- to be shown- to be desired  By everyone but you, of that, never tire-  Aspire to be her prince charming  Yet maybe, the fairy tales were a warming Of the love you wanted, of love of ideals.  But when it glistens- when it sighs- when it tumensces-  How unreal, the authenticity of the most real.  Let them love what lingers-  Momentary shadow, trace, form  For if they catch your unity, by more than a finger Suddenly, the whole world is worn.

Una

Una  4 février 24 Bolton The one is multiplicious  The ocean batters the stone.  Souls are salacious, duplicitous   Even melts the gold of a throne.  In the great torrent of samsara  Clinging like rats to the individual  How dilapidated today, duty and dharma,  Every colony of ants, a made miracle.  Chiseled of day, I want impermeability  Rain seduces solidarity to sin  To separate- to bind- to preserve- insipid individuality  The mouse searches forever, the seed in the wind  Action echos, the world envious of entropy,  The lake will settle in a few eons  In the dead of the nights, we sing transitory elegies   Rage against the bower- chop down the trees- Your formidable form is tapered by a breeze  But you burn in the vines and sow the grain- Rows of furrows, to which you are fain.  Send me out into the sea I desire a viking sati  When all of me is drowned  Heart, soul an...

12/14/23

Weather's War

Weather’s war  12/18/23 Hunting island, sc  rain by the seaside  Strips bare my insides,  My mind is want  Of nature’s bishopric, and I a sycophant Will I stay when the tides fades away? Transience in permanence, move what may- My soul climbs moss to the soupy tree top Where guilt fades,  condensates, and plop- Water cycle woes-  The billow’s cerulean contours echo my foes Long hair, enchanting voice, and entracing glow- I stand in the water, and seem to be torn by the flow- But I jam cotton in my ears,  The son in its cold passion, dear To the men so deaf to song,  A brightly blinded heart beset by frothy wrong- Eyes to the sky beg apotheosis Heart to the earth’s heart crave neurosis,  The ocean, she culminates her fury Yet dissolves suddenly, no worries to bury  In the rain on the seashore  I wonder what I want more  The strident sun or swallowing sea Or weather so rightly at war?

To love the tide

To love the tide  Ptc GA drake field  12/22/23  In your large waters,  I’ve come to bathe  To purge myself of fodder That estranges me from my ways.  Swallow me whole, nymph! Your waves will do me no harm  I grab myself by the heel and rinse  On your cold skin, the sun stopping your charms.  My mind is afire in the passion of the sky.  Columns of clouds, fountains of fire,  We will fondle the firmament so nigh- To stoop in you is a temporary mire. Draw forth your lotus! Sing your hymns!  Circe, I shan’t break my focus  For your wave-whims.  Yet the moon hangs ripe  In the garden of good and sin  And the satyr’s discordant pipe  Penetrates across the wind.  Love me, siren,  With the force of a typhoon,  I won’t heed chiron- Your lily-love, once bane  has become boon.

As you like it

As you like it  Bolton  Jan 31st ‘24  Men and women- chains and flowers,  Tears and sights, gilt and guilt- We are born with fearsome tools of war.  We project, protect, proclaim, all just to procreate?  God couldn’t have made two better fools- They stumble, and seduce, and separate- Forms stirring in the cloud, reimagined and  Manifested in the newest blooms.  The bower and the beauty, the youth and the yonic  How real the imagined is Encapsulates us, consumes us, we build to be free. I shan’t but laugh- the infinite comedy of errors- never ending cast.  You’ll never get it as you like it- The winter is biting, the roles are switched  The tempest rages, and lovers do the bit- What a pound of flesh it would take to get as fair as a Summer’s day… or its dream. But we are disenfranchised from dowries and duty  We have rather cowardice, compulsion, confusion Let's dance in the LED waltz- Sin can be quite symphonic-  We...
